It's just a Home Depot. It's one of the smaller ones so sometimes they refer you to one of the bigger ones if they don't have an item. For the most part they have suited my needs just fine.
1:1 ratio of customers to employees. Still seem to not be able to find an employee that can help me find what I'm after... To gentleman in Orange apron with Home Depot nametag; "Excuse me sir, can you help me find.." "I don't work for the store, I work for the home store" ....... "Oh.. Thanks...?" I go to flag down another employee. Look of general confusion is disconcerting... "Maybe Gary (not actual name) in appliances knows" walk over to Gary... "Maybe you can find it online?" 5 minutes and three employees later, told to look online. I'm from here, I live here, I want to support local, with experiences like this, it is difficult... Hate to say it, I really do, but looks like Amazon will be the first stop next time instead of my local store 5 minutes down the road
Difficult to find somebody to help you with your questions so I had to leave empty-handed cuz nobody could help me. One employee did try to help me but didn't know enough about siding to help me. incredible.
I rented a carpet cleaner from this location yesterday. I asked for 24 hours but today noticed that my invoice was for 4 hours. That was fixed when I returned the equipment. However I noticed an extra charge on my final invoice for equipment protection that I didn’t ask for. I called the store and spoke with someone who hesitated on whether or not this was required. He finally said that it’s a part that’s just skimmed over, but it’s not required. I did not ask for this protection and this wasn’t something that was just skimmed over, it was completely skipped over. I asked if this could be refunded and the guy I spoke with said he would try. He wasn’t able to remove it and wasn’t proactive on offering any kind of solution. We were just at a standstill on the phone. He finally offered to put me through to a manager but I didn’t have time to wait. Although it was only $3 extra it’s the principal of the matter. I wasn’t asked if I wanted this protection and I didn’t need it, but most of all I’m annoyed that this error cannot be fixed and I have to waste more than $3 of my time to get it corrected. I would not be as annoyed with this situation if the representative I spoke to had been more proactive with fixing it rather than me having to request everything before it was offered. I am very disappointed in Home Depot’s training in customer issue resolution.
Great store. I use alot of different Home Depots, this one may be my favorite. Clean, in-stock and great service at every turn.
