It's best to avoid any sort of interaction with this police department. They are always right and you are always wrong. I recently witnessed and documented a policeman driving in his car breaking roadway laws, and when I call to get his name and badge number, they refused to give it to me. They are public officers and their name and badge number is public information. Ridiculous.

Yesterday, my husband and I went buy a new car. I see this cop pull up behind my husbands truck in front of me with his lights on. I pull in behind the cop and told him I was Anthony’s wife (or his wife). The officer instructed me to pull up. So, I complied. The cop walks up to my husbands truck and told us our registration had expired. I peaked my head out of my vehicle dumbfounded and ask if the he ran the registration (in disbelief I forgot such an important thing). He said yes I did. So, at this point I’m scared. I told the cop it was my fault and we were going trade the vehicles. He could obviously sensed my destress and said “We are human and we all make mistakes”. He wrote us a warning. We thanked him for doing what he does. I’ve always had respect for law enforcement. However, with the recent media spins of events I was scared. This guy was a younger really nice guy. Often, we hear the bad experiences, so, I felt compelled to put out a very positive experience. Even if he gave us a ticket he was a good man ❤️. Upon returning home I renewed my tag and apologized to my husband for the 20th time. It was a good day. And, a reminder that the men and women in blue are really awesome people!
Don't try to help any situation as a third party. They'll just put you in handcuffs and treat you like a criminal.
