Corey was very professional, and made a sad experience bearable. Very willing to help and find solutions to obstacles that may have otherwise been very frustrating.

Oh my goodness, WONDERFUL staff, especially Morgan Gentry-Smith. Caring, compassionate, professional, so sweet, went above and beyond to help our family. Lauren Wilt was so kind and helpful too.

Chuck and Morgan went above and beyond to help our hurting family navigate and get through the whole burial process.

Thanks again Corey!!

The staff at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home made a very emotionally-difficult situation bearable. They kindly explained and comforted us while selecting the options for the whole process and even offered suggestions for decisions that we had no experience/energy making. Due to the efforts of the staff, the service was exactly what our loved one would have wanted, and we intend on requesting their services in future times of need. Thank you for all that you do.

At only 30 years of age I never imagined I'd be burying one of my children, unimaginable pain. The individuals at Winkenhofer funeral home, especially Cory went above and beyond. The room at our son's viewing was absolutely beautiful. Dying at such a young age Cory suggested we do a crib verse a casket (not that my husband or I placed Paxton in the crib, but instead remained in our arms the entire night) and knowing our faith was extremely important to us there was a beautiful crucifix over the crib, surrounded by beautiful flowers. Not knowing we had a gown for my son made out of my wedding gown Cory had someone else make a gown for him, just in case. Extremely thoughtful to say the least. The morning before the funeral Mass my husband and I spent well over an hour, holding Paxton, saying the rosary with him and praying prior to leaving the funeral home and heading to the church. When Cory came in around 1010am I knew it was time. I asked if I could tuck my child in, without hesitation Cory said yes. Tears falling from my face, it gave me so much comfort being able to do this. My husband, oldest son and I miss Paxton more than words can explain and though his spirit and soul were already in heaven, saying goodbye to his body was heartbreaking. My family and I thank everyone at the funeral home for making our last goodbyes with our youngest son so beautiful. May God Bless.
