So pleased with our experience. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch. Food presentation is amazing. The sides are huge! We had such a great experience, definitely have to give a shout out to Lori for the WONDERFUL service and have to mention the manager. I'm always cold in restaurants and am used to bringing a jacket, whatever... But inspite of my jacket I was just freezing. The manager noticed my body language apparently and walked over and asked if I was chilly. I answered yes and he adjusted the temperature for me. I thought that was so fantastic, of course I was still cold because I always am, but told him I was fine because the temp I like would make everyone uncomfortable, but it definitely made it so that it was very reasonable and I really appreciated the attention to detail. Would definitely come back here.
Came from out of town to visit my folks. Four of us went to lunch. Two ordered the Lobster Bisque. It certainly was flavorful; however, it was a bit cool. My mother ordered the New York Strip Steak Sandwich. We had high expectations given the previous reviews and the fact that we were at a steak house. However, the sandwich was a disappointment. She ordered it medium, but it came well done. We returned the sandwich and she got another one, cooked about right. However, the steak was chewy and not very flavorful. I ordered the Chicken and Avocado Club. It was terrible. The chicken was overcooked and chewy, the bacon had been cooked, it seemed, earlier in the day, and the avocado was hard - meaning inedible. I asked to have the avocado replaced, and the kitchen told the wait staff that "all the avocados came from the same batch", so no use in replacing it (really, they should not be selling a sandwich with avocado if it is almost woody)! Another of my party had the Southwest Steak Salad - she thought it was good; she thought the meat was flavorful. Additionally, the room was cold - staff did turn down the AC on request. We had to wait a long time for the initial order to come out and then wait again for the replacement sandwich. We had to ask repeatedly for drink refills. Not recommended.
Normally i love coming to Ruth's Chris, but this wasn't normal. I know it was Thanksgiving but I've been here on Thanksgiving before and it was lovely. This time 2 of our group received steaks that were over done and it took over 30 minutes for the refire. You would think that they could have at least discounted the meals that took so long, especially since everyone else at the table had finished their meals. This was not the case, and I am really disappointed.
My wife and I celebrated our one-year anniversary at this restaurant. We were blowing away by The Taste in the quality of the food and the service that we received. Our waitress was awesome and the manager there was really nice and friendly. Most definitely will be returning in the future! Thank you Ruth's Chris crew!
